White Christmas

Този път реших да направя малко по-разчупена коледна картичка - пресъздаваща зимна приказка в гората. Хартиите са напръскан с домашно направения ми блестящ спрей - за съжаление не се вижда много добре на снимките. Основата на картичката е правена с топъл ембосинг и дистрес мастила в синьо. "Коледните украшения" на елхата са всъщност течни перли. Бях чела някъде че може да си оцветш течните перли с маркер от типа на Copic. Е, нали се сещате че аз такива си нямам, затова реших да се пробвам с обикновени флумастери от снаряжението на децата. В общи линии се оцветиха, но категорично заявявам, че ще си купя още няколко цвята течни перли и повече няма да се мъча с оцветяването им..
Ами това е от мен засега. Надявам се да ви харесва моята малка снежна приказка...

This time I decided to make an untaditional Christmas card - it is showing a sort of winter tale in the forest. The papers are sprinkled with my homemade glimmer spray but unfortunately that's not quite visible on the pictures. I made the "Merry Christmas" part using embossinig and several bluish distress inks. The "ornaments" on the Christmas tree are made using Ranger's liquid peals. I read somewhere that you can colour them in different colours using for example Copic markers. Well, I don't have them too... So I used some ordinary markers from my kids' stash. They did colour somewhat but I definitely need to buy more colours of liquid pearls and will probably no longer try to colour them myself again.

    Hi Ani: Beautiful Card! I can see Dasher just jumping right behind those trees (like in my backyard in Ontario!) Your setup of card is fantastic. THAT takes talent.
