Snowman and penguins

Представям ви една картичка за която използвах един много сладурски дигитален печат - Snowman and penguins на дизайнера Crissy Armstrong за Whimsy Stamps. Картинката е оцветена с акварелни моливи. Добавих малко фин брокат и distress stickles за имитация на сняг. Хартиите са от коледната колекция на Dovecraft. Покрая съм ги минала с distress crackle paint. На заврънтулките добавих от блестящия медиум на Artiste Glitter medium.

Here's a card I made using this very cute digi image - Snowman and penguins by the designer Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. The image is coloured with watercolor pencils. I added some fine glitter and distress stickles to look like sparkling snow. The papers are from the Christmas collection of Dovecraft. I added some distress crackle paint by the edges. I decorated the swirls with Artiste Glitter medium.

Тази седмица предизвикателстовото при One Stop Cards Craft e Under the Weather или с други думи картичка, която бихте подарили на ваш близък, който не се чувства добре.
А това е моята картичка за предизвикателството.

Използвала съм хартия на K&Company. Картинката е дигитален печат "Forget me not" на Crissy Armstrong за Whimsy Stamps. Завъртулките са направени с шаблони на Marianne Design.  По краищата на красивото розово цвете минах с блестящото лепило на Rangers (май това е първия им продукт, от всички които съм ползвала до момента, от които не съм особено очарована. За сравнение - на голямата завъртулка използвах съвсем обикновено блестящо лепило - от тези, които се продават по 12 различни цвята в голяма опаковка в Jumbo и в интерес на истината придава много по-хубав блясък).

This week the challenge at One Stop Cards Craft is Under the Weather.
And here's my card for the challenge. I used DP by K&Company. The picture is a digi called  "Forget me not" by the talented designer Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. The swirls are made using the  Marianne Design dies. I added some stickles by Ranger on the beautiful pink flower (I think that of all Ranger's products I've used so far, this one I don't like much. For comparison - on the swirls I added some cheap glitter glue and it shines even better).

Наминавам да ви се похваля с розичките и иглите, които правих наскоро.

И да ви разкажа как се стигна до тук. Реших, че по случай годишнината от моя блог ми се иска освен наградата на един късметлия от записалите се, да дам и една малка наградка,  на някой от моите настоящи последователи, на някой който често се отбива в блогчето ми и оставя коментари . Мислех си, че например различни хартиени елементи и панделки биха влезли в употреба на всеки запален картичкотворец. Обаче, ... исках тези дреболийки да са прибрани в красива ръчно направена кутийка. И така, представям ви първата ми кутийка от този род (като искрено се надявам, че този който си я спечели ще й се радва)...

Със сигурност не е перфектна и има още какво да се желае, но... Важното е , че е направена с много любов! А аз от известно време съм много запалена, по "Altered arts" или с други думи казано - да преобразиш някоя стара и непотребна вещ... Засега основно гледам клипчета и снимки и се вдъхновявам. Имам готово едно малко дървено сандъче, което надявам се скоро ще добия смелост да започна да преобразявам. Иска ми се да се получи нещо красиво, нежно и романтично... Но ще видим...

Just a quick post to show my new handmade roses and pins.

But first, let me tell you how it all happened... I decided that for my first blogaversary, I want to give one more award to one of my followers, someone who visits my blog often and comments on my posts. I'll pick that someone myself, not using any Random generators. I thought that some paper diescuts and ribbon would be usefull for any cardmaker. But then I wanted to pack them all in a beautiful handmade little box. So here's my very first handmade and decorated box of that kind (i really hope that the lucky recepient will like it)

It it definitely not perfect, but... What's important is that it's made with lots of love!

I've been recently interested in the "Altered arts"... I'm just watching video tutorial and learning. I already have a little woden box realy to be altered, I just need to get the courage and start with it... I want it to turn out beautiful and romantic! We'll see...

Тази картичка я направих с голямо удоволствие, може би защото тази цветова комбинация ми е любима. Използвах един от новите си печати на Stampendous за фон и мисля че се получи изискано. Добавих малко течни перли на Rangers. Надписът е част от един голям дървен печат, които имам отдавна - използвах само една малка част от него.

Следващите две седмици предизвикателството при Creative Card Crew e Seeing Red (в буквален превод - да се вижда червено). Ако ви хрумва нещо, ще се радваме да се включите в предизвикателството.

И като казах "червено" веднага се сетих, че нещо на Валентинска тематика би било перфектно за случая. Представям ви една "близалка" в червено и бяло. Дигиталния печат е на Raindrop Echo Designs - Love You Sayings. Сърчицето оцветих с червено и добавих 3D Glossy Accents за обем.

I made this card with pleasure, probably because this color combo is one of my favourite ones. I used one of my new Stampendous stamps for the background and I think that it turned out very classy. I added some liquid pearls by Rangers. The sentiments is part of a big rubber stamp I have for quite awhile and just don't use that often - so I used just this little piece of it.
This fortnight the challenge at the Creative Card Crew is Seeing Red. So if you have something in mind, we'd love to see your creations entered in our challenge. Sponor is Pizzazz Applenty.

And as I mentioned "red" I thought that something for Valentine's Day would be perfect. So my second project is a red and white "lollipop". The digi stamp is by Raindrop Echo Designs - Love You Sayings. The heart is coloured with watercolour pençil in red and then I added some 3D Glossy Accents on top of it for dimension.

Минавам набързо само да ви поканя да участвате в новото предизвикателство на Whimsy Stamps - Happy Birthday (Честит Рожден Ден). За да участвате не е необходимо да ползвате техни печати, но ако все пак имате такъв, можете с вашето участие да се кандидатирате за гост-дизайнер. Също така се приемат всякакви проекти по темата от хартия, а не само картички.

А пък аз да се похваля с нова придобивка - най-сетне открих перфектния органайзер за моите перли и мъниста. Оказа се, че в магазина за лев има кутийки за рибарски кукички с малки разделения, която ми пасва идеално. В момента съм в процес на сортиране на перлите, тъй като са смесени няколко цвята в една опаковка, но все пак ето една снимчица.

This will be a quick post just to let you know that the new challenge at Whimsy Stamps this week is Happy Birthday.

Don't forget You don't have to use a whimsy image. It would be great if you did though and besides you can add GDT after your name and you could be picked for a Guest Designer in the future. Also it doesn't have to be a card, you can enter all paper projects.

One lucky winner will get a $15 gift certificate for purchase from Whimsy Stamps.

Other than that, yesterday I found the perfect organiser for my pearls and blings. I got a box for fishing hooks  from the $1 store that fits perfectly.I have to separate the pearls by colour as they're mixed several colors together in a package, but here's a pic...

Моята картичка направих по първата редица - Distressing, Lace/Ribbon, Flowers.
Картинката е дигитален печат Fruit Hat от Doodle Pantry. Оцветена е с акварелни моливи. Дистреснала съм краищата на фоновата хартия, а също и на "дантелата". Добавих няколко цветчета и една пеперуда, които украсих с distress stickles by Rangers.

During the next week the challenge at One Stop Craft is Bingo. You have to pick a row or column from the table above and make a project including all of the elements in the row/column. How fun is that?
I made my card following the first row - Distressing, Lace/Ribbon, Flowers.
The picture is a digi image Fruit Hat by Doodle Pantry. I coloured it with watercolour pencils. I distressed the edges of the background paper as well as the faux "lace" with distress inks. I embelished the card with some flowers and a butterfly,  that were decorated with some distress stickles by Rangers.
